Cupcakes By Sonja
BONIFACIO GLOBAL CITY
1 C03, Ground Floor, Serendra, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Luzon, Philippines Last year I noticed that cupcakes have become a trendy item whether it be due to reality shows or business people trying to come up with the next “hit.” As you stroll through Bonifacio global city and admire the cosmopolitan atmosphere, one cannot help but notice the quaint cupcake shop with frilly decor. Inside, the cupcake is exquisitely displayed like works of art. Some of them, with interesting titles such as “Elvis”. Of course no cupcake display can be complete without the red velvet. The cupcake prices are definitely higher than the average, but then I believe these are meant to be designer or trendy. I decided to go with the “Elvis.” Right away I was expecting chocolate, peanut butter, and banana, since I’ve heard that was one of his favorite combinations. The chocolate and peanut butter flavors were definitely there and one could not help but taste decadence in an American fashion. I say American, cause I’m not sure europe would find luxery or asia would find luxury in such ingredients hehe. The red velvet was not bad, better than most I would say.
